
Prior to opening his own practice in 2012, Chris worked as a family law attorney in Mount Vernon, Washington for a Bellingham law firm.
Chris began his private practice experience as an associate attorney at Lathrop, Winbauer, et al, in Ellensburg, Washington for 3 years. He was responsible for a variety of cases, including family law, CPS instigated and dependency proceedings, criminal defense, real estate, contracts, wills, trusts, and estates. At that time, he also served as a pro tem Judge in Kittitas County district courts.
Chris worked as a Kittitas County deputy prosecutor in Ellensburg, Washington for one year. He worked as the juvenile prosecutor, district court prosecutor, and handled adult sexual assault cases on a rotating basis, including jury trials.
Chris has participated in Collaborative Law training and facilitative mediation training. He is also a member of the Whatcom Collaborative Professionals group.

Bachelor's degree in English. Member of the Washington State Bar Association since 2007.
