I've been a divorce attorney since 1996 and a collaborative attorney since 2001. Having given up litigation, I devote myself entirely to helping clients resolve their cases outside of court.
I love collaborative law because it helps parties realize the importance of intangible assets -- things like their children's well being, their ability to parent together, their ongoing connection to each other (including good memories), their connection to friends and family, etc. I love working with collaborative colleagues to hold a contain the family. This work is tremendously gratifying.
